DESCRIPTION:TAKING THE HIGH ROAD:\n\nCannabis Risks\, Exposures & Coverages -VIRTUAL CLASS\n\nThis course provides licensed insurance agency personnel with an overview of the cannabis industry\, types of cannabis-related products available   both legally and illegally   in the market for consumers\, the pertinent federal and state laws & regulations that apply\, exposures by line of business and type of operation within the industry\, risk management techniques employed\, and claims examples or case studies to supplement the theoretical\, legal/regulatory and coverage form framework presented. The history of cannabis in the United States\, the evolution and acceptance of its use for medical purposes\, and the subsequent shift in attitude toward the mainstream acceptance of the product in society will all be discussed to a lesser extent in context with supporting the main topics presented above.\n\nApproved for 3 credit hours in KY and OH.   Concentration: P/C\n\n\n\nGain The E.D.G.E.Series is a series of seminars that address current insurance topics and are designed to help the insurance agent evaluate and advise their clients regarding their insurance needs.
