Description
This course will discuss and review trends in InsurTech, Artificial Intelligence/Chat GPT, Predictive Modeling, Parametric Insurance, Embedded Insurance, and the Sharing economy. We will discuss what coverages the major InsurTech players are offering and how their "disruption" is competing with the traditional agency model.
- How are insurance carriers using AI/Chat GPT?
- How have predictive models evolved over the last year? What is the level of insurer reliance upon them?
- What is parametric insurance and how is it used?
- What's new with the sharing economy and how can I prepare?
Approved for 3 credit hours in KY and OH. Concentration: P/C
Gain The E.D.G.E.Series is a series of seminars that address current insurance topics and are designed to help the insurance agent evaluate and advise their clients regarding their insurance needs. These seminars will be offered periodically. The purpose is to keep you up to date on current coverage issues.
