This seminar will discuss the National Flood Insurance Program, how flood insurance works and functions and the recent changes to the program. It will also teach attendees about the various governmental agencies involved in flood disasters and what their roles are and how they work who qualifies for flood coverage, how to rate flood policies and what is covered in the flood policy, what communities qualify and recent changes in the program. Topics covered include: overview, myths & facts, coverage issues, coverage, elevation certificates, claims, cancellation procedures and recents changes to the program.
