What is Ethics? This course will discuss how the concept of ethics and morality have developed over time. How have these principles been applied historically, how do we apply them today, and how should we be thinking about their application in the future?
OBJECTIVE: This seminar will give the student a basic understanding of the historical development of ethics. A working definition of ethics will be discussed, with an understanding of how ethical behavior can be applied in both our personal and business pursuits. Potential causes of unethical behavior will be explored. The instructor will include specific examples of ethical situations for student consideration. Finally, the course will explore how ethics may evolve in the future.
