This advanced seminar will teach the attendee various aspects of the Commercial General Liability policy. It will review: definitions, policy structure, insuring agreement, exclusions, coverages, coverage triggers, and duty to defend. ISO forms will be used as the basis of this presentation.

One of the most frequent problem areas is the idea that a contractual requirement to add an additional insured to an insurance policy is the same as a contractual hold harmless or indemnification agreement. While both clauses frequently appear in the same contract, they are separate and distinct from one another. The recent Oio Supreme Court decision about faulty workmanship of subcontractors will also be disussed.
