Description
Insurance producers who sell flood insurance through the NFIP must satisfy the minimum training and education requirements by completing a course related to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) approved for at least three hours of CEU’s. This course will satisfy that one time training requirement. This course will introduce and update the agent in the following NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program) specifics:
- History and NFIP background
- Flood zones and risks
- Policies and Products available
- Types of buildings covered
- Damages not covered
- General Rules
- Loss Settlement
- Rating
- Claim procedures and rules
