This course presents 16 different personal lines case studies. The insurer coverage decisions detailed here are based on the actual coverage forms in use at the time of each claim. Today's forms many times would produce differing coverage decisions in these cases based on the language of today's forms. You are going to explore the results of these claims by comparing the insurance company decisions made at the time of the claim with the language in the forms in use today. Your goal is to gain an understanding of the process used to determine the existence of coverage, as well as to determine whether there are any coverage limitations which may affect the amount paid for particular claims.
