This seminar will give an overview of the basic rules of evidence as they are used in the claims handling process. This information will help the agent in advising policyholders to understand the investigations required in settling claims. It will give the attendees knowledge about the various aspects of claims handling. Why are all the reports and statements required to settle a loss. This seminar will discuss the basic laws of evidence, the relevancy of this evidence and how this evidence is used to protect the client in the event of a suite and state laws that govern claims.
